SHALOM Woolery!

The SHALOM Woolery serves adults living with developmental disabilities. 

 

The SHALOM Woolery produces fiber products such as dryer balls, cat toys, roving, hot pads and bird nesting balls.  We are also learning to weave rugs on our looms!

We process all our own wool and alpaca from the raw fleece.  We hand wash, skirt the fleece, pick, and card.  We have machines to make rug yarn, roving, felt sheets and batting. 

 

Thirty faithful volunteers serve weekly at the SHALOM Woolery!  SHALOM Woolery Coaches help participants successfully achieve their objectives for growth.  We believe every person has value given by God that cannot be earned.  We focus on the whole person, recognizing that our spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual and relational selves all contribute to wholeness.
